Overview
Mentorship Program for Practicing Doulas is an ongoing, mentor-led space for continuous professional growth—offering supervision without judgment, reflective practice, and real-world skill refinement. Through fortnightly 60-minute online sessions that alternate between Learning Lessons and Case Study Discussions, you’ll deepen your confidence, process the emotional labour of birth work, and strengthen your communication, client interaction, ethics, and nervous system-informed self-care. This isn’t just training—it’s ongoing holding for the holder, with community support and a curated resource hub to help you integrate learning directly into practice.

What is the Mentorship Program?
It’s an ongoing, mentor-led space for practicing doulas to grow through continuous education, guided supervision, reflective practice, and case study analysis—“ongoing holding for the holder.”
Who is this mentorship for?
For working/practicing doulas who want: supervision without judgment, space to process emotional labour, real-world skill refinement, and a peer community that understands birth work.
How long is the mentorship program?
The minimum duration is 6 months for practicing doulas and doula in training after successful completion of Seminar 1 with The Doula Collective All Doula Collective certified doulas will have 3 year access, renewed on recertification without cost.
What does the Mentorship include?
There are two live interactive sessions each month The fortnightly sessions alternate between two formats 1. Learning Lesson : A structured, mentor-led teaching session a. Communication b. Client Interaction c. Ethics d. Self-Care & Nervous System Awareness 2. Case Study Review & Discussion Facilitated peer learning built around a single real-life case. Participants submit anonymised case studies from their work.
Is there a community group?
Yes—participants can access The Doula Collective Community WhatsApp group after completing a minimum of 6 months.
